Arbitrator Intelligence called a “Welcome” Cure for “Complacency”

June 21, 2016 Hope_James_web

In his recent article in the CPR Magazine, “Transparency in International Arbitration,” James Hope–a world renowned arbitration specialist, partner and head of the Vinge’s dispute resolution group in Stockholm–identified Arbitrator Intelligence a “welcome attempt to prevent such complacency on the part of some arbitrators.”

The ideas behind Arbitrator Intelligence were originally developed and put forward in series of scholarly articles authored by AI Founder, Professor Catherine Rogers.  In making the case for increased transparency in international arbitration, Hope also referred to as “prescient” Rogers’ earlier scholarship analyzing the relationship between greater transparency and internal evolutionary changes within international arbitration.
